Theme: Mind Upload

Mind Upload refers to the process of transferring human consciousness into a digital medium. This can be the idea of the human brain scanned and uploaded into a computer, onto the internet or into Virtual Reality. Other options include the transfer of the mind into an android body or sleeves (a term that has come to refer to backup copies of one’s body or new bodies).

There has been much speculation about the feasibility and technical difficulties of doing so in the real world. On screens, the idea is a relatively new one that will undoubtedly be explored in the future.
